The stay was amazing! As we entered, we were greeted with welcome drink and had the best aloo parathas as breakfast. The warm sun in cold air with the old lal haveli vibes as the perfect morning in Udaipur. I am someone who loves sightseeing but this place made me take a staycation. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms have the perfect match and the 300 year old haveli was perfect for a history geek like me. Everything is so close! The market, Jagdish temple, city palace, lakes, cafes, etc. This is just located in the heart of the city. In the old city part, cabs aren’t allowed, so while returning we had to walk to the pick up place for Uber, but thats fine since it was 2-3 mins walk. So this was an amazing stay, very personalised to you.

I stayed at kaladwas lal haveli for 3 nights in October and the experience was just beyond amazing. The haveli itself is so beautifully preserved, and feels very luxurious. It’s in the busy part of the city but as soon as you walk in it feels so peaceful. So much attention to detail has been paid to the rooms, and the rooftop terrace/restaurant has such a good breakfast (included) and was probably our most luxurious despite staying in a 5 star hotel later. One of the staff Narendra is what made this hotel stand out for me. He is so kind and willing to accommodate any request. There was one time we were craving gulab jaamun and he even took us to the best mithai shop in town. He made the place feel like home! 10/10 I would recommend this hotel to anyone

I had a wonderful stay at Khaldwas Lal Haveli and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The check-in process was seamless, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The room was tastefully decorated and left me completely mesmerised. The breakfast and food were excellent, and what really stood out was the top-notch hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. For my birthday, my sister had requested a simple surprise—either a cake or a bottle of wine. However, the hotel exceeded all expectations by beautifully decorating the room with flower petals, arranging a bottle of wine, and even preparing a handmade cake. The thoughtfulness and effort behind this gesture made it incredibly special.

Staying at Kaladwas was one of the most memorable experience we had in our trip to udaipur. To start with rooms, decor and every small detail in the hotel was so thoughtful and takes you back in time to ensure you get full vibes of staying in a 300 year old haveli. Location of the haveli, is smack in the middle of old city and very convenient to go walking to all the main attractions and for shopping. The F&B team, steward, Narendra at front desk, everyone is warm and provides unparalleled hospitality. Rooftop restaurant has lovely view of old city and clock tower and some really delicious food. And biggest shout out to Divyabhanu, he is an amazing host, always available to connect, accomodative and gives amazing recommendations. He ensured that the whole experience from booking to stay was super convenient.

My stay was at Badal Mahal, and honestly speaking everything was spectacular. Every corner of this Haveli was screaming royalty and legacy. Its all worth it. This place deserves a must must must visit. After a tiredsome visit of udaipur, just take one day break to live the royalty and get completely sink in with this royal beauty. The intricate architecture and soulful ambiance tell a story of a bygone era that you simply can’t find in a standard hotel. Waking up surrounded by such heritage was the highlight of my trip; it’s not just a stay, it’s a full cultural immersion. If you want to experience the true heart of Udaipur’s grandeur, do yourself a favor and book a stay at this stunning legacy property. Absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!
